Editor Review - 01/2/2009
For basic and wireless PDAs you just need to decide between buying a Palm or an HP. If you are buying it to manage your personal information like schedules, calendars, and contacts you should buy one of the models we review below. If you are looking for a 'business' PDA to use for Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint you should get an HP iPAQ.
If you are looking for a Smartphone then there are really more choices. Palm and HP also make very good Smartphones but Apple has thrown the category up in the air with its introduction of the iPhone. Blackberry and Motorola also make very good Smartphones and it really depends on what your needs are. If you want the best looking or the best mp3 player buy the iPhone. If you want the best email management buy the Blackberry. If you want the best core PDA functionality buy either the Palm Tungsten or the HP.
